Additional Information

Dayton, TN-  Our student anglers, parents, and many volunteers teamed up with BASS  for a cleanup event this week on Lake Chickamauga. These individuals picked up over 12,000 pounds of trash from the shores in and around Dayton, TN. Some BASS Elite anglers spent time walking the shores with our volunteers picking up this trash and improving the quality of our lake!

Percy Priest, Tims Ford and Normandy Lake Clean Ups/Habitat

Additional Information

26 December 2021 to 10 Jan 2022, its “Christmas for Fishes” time, we invite everyone to drop off their Christmas Tree at WDCT Radio, 1201 S. College St, Winchester Tennessee. Please don’t just trash your trees…recycle this valuable resource. Please remove all ornaments prior to leaving your tree at WCDT Radio. Tennessee BASS Nation High School and Conservation under the guidance for TWRA Fisheries will place your tree in Tims Ford Lake to be used as habitat and fish attractors.  This annual event has been a great success in restoring lost habitat and the overall health of Tims Ford Lake. Please do not place trees in area lake without proper permission from TWRA Fisheries

Other events: Tennessee BASS Nation will be hosting several Lake Clean Up days on area lakes. These projects are vital to our community and the health of our lakes, rivers, and streams. Each year we remove thousands of pounds of trash from area lakes and try to leave it better than we found it. We invite everyone to spend some time with our High School and Adult Bass Nation team helping to pay it forward.  We supply trash bags, grabbers and some great company
